. . . music, he put the excitement of it in there. He came from a lot of different styles, mainly rhythm and blues and a blues-type feeling, but he expanded it, took it all and put it together and made something of his own from it. He always had the ability to get every kind of tone that he could ever want on his guitar. Every time I’ve ever had the chance I’ve listened to him, I think almost everything I’ve ever heard that he did blew me away. I could pick out some favorites, but from day to day my favorites change. Every time I get to listen to him again there’s something I find on another song. I like him, his life . . .
