Nothing has knocked me over the head since Jimi Hendrix. Sometimes you learn more by going backward than forward, so if I want to hear guitar playing, I'll put on a George Van Eps record. Albums by those older guys have much more depth than what most people are doing now. Really good, original ideas seem in short supply these days.
