I look forward to it every year. That's one of my favorite parts because Buddy is probably one of the last blues guys from that era, like B. B. King and Muddy Waters. Billy is one of the last guys to play with Jimi so it's a real honor to be able to get up there and play with those guys, you know? . . . It's almost like he's still around, making that music. It's really awesome. He was one of my big influences from the start. It's really cool that the Hendrix family, along with John McDermott, who puts the whole tour on, are still bringing his music to a lot of newer and younger fans. Fans that didn't get a chance to hear or see him when he was alive.
