He was on acid and he lit the guitar on fire, just brought the house down. He really developed a great deal from the time I first saw him. He was kind of wild and carefree. He obviously wasn’t afraid of making a mistake and he took Dylan songs and made them his own. He just really kind of brought it over the top. It was incredible, there was no holding back. It was incredible stuff.
