It’s unbelievable . . . I moved to L.A. and heard Smash Hits. It was unbelievable. It was everything: It was psychedelic, it was funk, it was blues, it was rock. My favorite Hendrix song is “Have You Ever Been to Electric Ladyland”. It’s just so soulful, so electric. It’s like floating in water.
