. . . but nobody's never going to be a Jimi. Everybody loved it. I always strike a few of Jimi's licks. Muddy learned some of them from me before he passed. The way Jimi did it, man, he was so creative. It's just a thrill to play a few of his notes. The guy was so creative. I'm very thankful to the public who let his music live on. I would like to see that happen for a lot more great musicians who did so much for music. As long as there's life on this earth, then something good can be said about Jimi Hendrix.
