Jimi Hendrix was a great musician. He wrote and played some beautiful music. The works I most enjoyed were the ballads, like “Little Wing.” Jimi was more than a musician - he was a phenomenon. The power and the magic of the man, far more than the musical structure, made him what he was to the world and music. Thank you Jimi Hendrix, wherever you are.
